I visited Actual Gallery and discovered that there was a really interesting exhibition by Cliff Eyland going on right now. Actual Gallery is a contemporary art space located in the Exchange District. For the month of January & February, they are showcasing works by Cliff Eyland, called Five Hundred and One Paintings (for those based here in Winnipeg, this is the same artist behind the paintings by the lobby of the Millennium Library downtown). They're 3"x5" paintings with images ranging from book-cover-like, abstract and landscape designs. Not saying that I'm a total art person, but I thoroughly enjoyed perusing through this exhibit! Highly recommended!
Beautiful in red! Love the mix of red, white and polka dots! Great shots of the gallery, the exhibit looks like a must see.
