On a cold day, I rolled myself out of bed to go and grab breakfast at The Tallest Poppy. I have never tried this eatery when it was still located along Main St, but have always heard of great things about their food. They have reopened last year and have found a new home along West Broadway. Now, they not only serve daytime comfort food, but also have extended hours for dinner and have a lounge bar for drinks. When I went here, I was determined to try their Chicken & Waffles and boy, did it not disappoint. It doesn't come then as a surprise to have this place packed during breakfast/lunch hours. I would definitely recommend The Tallest Poppy to anyone who wants home-style food here in the city.
