Flight to Cebu: Cebu is an island province located in the Visayas region of the country. It is just south of Manila and flying time took only a little over an hour.

Some Philippine history. Ferdinand Magellan is a Portugese explorer believed to be the first westerner to discover the country in 1521. Cebu was the point of entry for this voyage and this Christian cross was planted in this location upon arrival.

Getting some local specialty. Cebu is best known for their dried seafood (and mangoes too).
I had to make sure I stopped by and purchased some to bring back here.

Beautiful Crimson Resort & Spa. The main reason why I went to Cebu was to attend a friend's wedding. The reception was going to be held here so it was just practical to book accommodations in this hotel. Certainly no regrets and really quite impressed. 

A lovely church wedding. The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral was a great venue to have the wedding; grandiose in appearance but still solemn for the day's main event.  

Sneaky OOTD. Here's me being part of the entourage. Enough said, hahaha!

Beach Front Reception. This was my favourite part of the wedding. The set up was immaculate with the fresh flowers and chandeliers. Aaahhh! Congratulations again to the Mr & Mrs!

Last day blues. Before heading back to Manila, I made sure to get more sunbathing,
swimming and strolling by the beach.
