First two photos are from Lorenzo's Way, a Filipino-Spanish restaurant. Featured are Beef Kaldereta, Salpicao, Kare-Kare, Crispy Adobo and Gambas; Seafood Paella is pictured above.
The go-to dessert for my entire stay: Mango Bravo from Conti's. Layers of wafer, cream and fresh mangoes coated with whipped cream icing and drizzled with chocolate syrup. HEAVEN!
Dinner at this modern Filipino resto-bar called Pino. I got a twist to the classic Filipino Adobo: Red Wine Adobong Tadyang (Ribs). For dessert, there was Tablea (local Filipino cocoa) Cheesecake and Chocnut Turon (think spring roll but with choco-peanut syrup inside).
Also got a fresh watermelon shake to drink.
Philippines' version of Mcdonalds. A trip back home wouldn't be complete without eating at Jollibee. I skipped their burgers and chicken, instead I opted for a breakfast meal, Tapsilog.
Seafood Indulgence: I had tons of seafood while I was in Manila since fresh ones are hard to come by here in Canada and they're also very expensive. I have to say that my best seafood meal came from The Red Crab when I had lunch there. The order included Crab Singapura, Garlic Prawns (HUGE) and Sizzling Pork Sisig (chopped meat, pig's head and liver).
Homemade Pork Sinigang (sour and savoury stew). This was my special request from my aunt. I asked her to cook Sinigang for me, specifically with those vegetables: beans & kangkong. Those kangkong stems with leaves are my favourite, hahaha!
Lastly, of course, dessert! A friend recommended Classic Confections, which was near the place I was staying at. Tried their Cheesecake, Chocolate Creme Brûlée and Mango Panna Cotta.

We're massive foodies, so we can totally appreciate all the amazing food...we're so jealous especially of all the desserts. We're going to have to hunt down a mango bravo, or something similar if we can find it in australia!!
