I'm excited to start this week with a feature on one of the newest tea shop in the city. Located in the heart of the Exchange District, the Amsterdam Tea Room boasts itself of providing a wide range of loose leaf teas and beautiful teaware. I went with my friend, Erika who ended up buying a bunch of their blooming teas. I have to say these blooming teas are quite impressive. They come in a bundled ball form and once you steep them, they open up and bloom to be a bouquet of flowers in water. With three weeks since opening, the Amsterdam Tea Room is a promising addition to the downtown scene. As much as I am a huge coffee drinker, I have to give the love for tea too!

Taking it easy for today's post and just sharing some photos and outfits from my annual weekend trip to Fargo, North Dakota. Work and wedding preps have been taking over my schedule so featuring new things in the city has been challenging. I'm hoping to check out some spots this weekend though so I can bring new content here. How about you? How's your summer so far? Let's talk!

thanks to Erika for taking these photos for me
I've been receiving a few clothing items lately and I thought of sharing them here by way of ootds (and a future summer lookbook video). First, let's talk about this dress from one of my friends who recently came back from Sierra Leone in West Africa. She was kind enough to pick out this bold and colourful fabric to customize a dress for me and I couldn't be happier with how it fit my body. Quite a statement dress, don't you think?

Second, the lovely folks from Sammy Dress sent me some summer pieces in the mail last month. You may have seen the shoes and denim shorts from my previous post; And I will be debuting the rest in upcoming posts this month. I received the package in less than 10 days, which is a pleasant surprise as these types of online sites normally take a long time to get items shipped. One of my favourites has to be this pair of sandals with the adorable scalloped details. I'm definitely getting a good wear out of this because of its color and comfortability. So excited to share with you more new clothing from Sammy Dress in the next couple of posts so I hope you all stay tuned!
