Hey all! Long time no blog. As you may have noticed, since the last post (2 weeks ago), I've acquired a new hairstyle and have totally embrace winter weather in the city. Over the weekend, a friend and I braved the -40 degree weather and head on to one of the newest spots in the city, Bouchee Boucher. Located around the St. Boniface neighbourhood, Bouchee Boucher is one half a butcher shop and one half a restaurant. The limited menu, which changes weekly, consists of sandwiches, salads and other small bites perfect for sharing. Obviously, I had to try their charcuterie board and I totally recommend it. The ambiance is casual and the service is attentive. Aside from dining in, the butcher shop also carries locally made pantry items which are perfect to grab on the go. Bouchee Boucher is a wonderful addition to this neighbourhood and I can't wait to bring other friends back here.
