I have noticed a trend when it comes to new establishments popping up. Most local businesses nowadays tend to make their spaces multifunctional and interactive. A great example is A Pinch of Creativity, located in the corner of Mcdermot Ave and Princess St. Owner, Tannis Ross, puts it very well by describing it as a unique studio space & boutique for local artisans to showcase their products, for people to get in touch with their creative side through workshops offered and for the community to find inspiration all around. One of the local vendors, Bahar, from Studio BD Jewelry invited me to attend their open house last Saturday and it was a great pleasure not only to meet her but also the other artisans present. Aside from the array of crafty goods for sale, they are offering their first set of workshops next month (Cardmaking & Scrapbooking). I heard they also have plans of hosting yoga sessions after retails hours. So cool, right? As you can see, A Pinch of Creativity looks promising as a source of inspiration and sense of community. For more information, head to their website here.

Local boutiques and shops are so interesting to visit. It's really nice to see the different types of handmade stuff that people took time making, versus the commercialized goods we find elsewhere. Great look! Love your purse
