December is here and the snow has arrived. What better way to counter the cold season than with a hearty bowl of gourmet soup. Since last year I've been meaning to try Sana Souphouse as my morning bus drives by here all the time. Catering to downtown residents and employees, this place offers breakfast & lunch meals that are both affordable and delicious. All the soups and sandwiches are made in house using local ingredients. I really enjoyed the wild mushroom soup & chicken pesto baguette that I ordered so I highly recommend checking out Sana Souphouse this winter!

  12. Ooh yum! I love the fact that this time of year is soup weather -- I'll usually make soup on Sunday nights and bring it to work without the week.
Your photos against that wall are really beautiful. Winnepeg seems like such a beautiful city!
When I was going to college in North Dakota, a lot of times my friends would drive to The Peg for a weekend trip or something. In fact, a lot of my friends were even from there. Ha ha I always loved the way they'd throw "eh" into conversations -- it's totally caught on for me!
