Before heading back to Seattle, I quickly grabbed coffee at Heart and managed to visit the Portland Japanese Garden. For someone who lives in flat prairies, I really appreciated the uneven landscapes, lush greens and the general topography here. After grabbing Mexican food for lunch, we drove back to Seattle and started packing our luggages for the flight home the following day.

  63. Portland is one of those places that I really hope to visit in the future. LOVE all of these photos and that cafe looks absolutely amazing as does the Japanese Garden. I visited a Japanese garden while in Florida for the first time and found each garden so beautiful. Sadly it was way too hot to fully enjoy it and spent lots of time there, but I was still really happy to be able to go.
