I was supposed to feature a new cafe, but I was not satisfied with how my photos turned out. So as an impromptu post, I thought of just sharing how my eventful Saturday went!
9:00am - ootds before breakfast (winnipeg weather strikes again with the cold hence the cardigan)
10:00am - Toast and Mocha for breakfast (yes, this was the cafe I was supposed to feature but I'll definitely go back for better shots, I promise!)
An event where various buildings all over the city open its doors to the public for free tours
11:00am - Heritage Winnipeg held its annual Doors Open weekend and for the first time had the City Hall be part of it. This was my first stop for the day and yes, I did meet Mayor Brian Bowman!
12:00nn - Artspace building had free rooftop access! I've always wondered how it looked on top.
1:00pm - Next stop, Bank of Montreal which still had the original marble columns and gold ceiling accents. Also saw one of the many vaults that became the physical foundation of the building.
2:00pm - Last stop was Royal Canadian Mint where the coins of the world are made. I was not allowed to take pictures from the tour of their production stations but was quite astonished by the architecture & landscape of the building that I had to share it here.
I hope you enjoyed how this post turned out. Off to another eventful weekend. See you next week!
