If you ask me what my favourite restaurant in the city is, you'd be surprised to know that I haven't featured it in the blog. Weird, right? So when an opportunity came to head back there, I took it as a way for me to be able to blog about it. I've been to Segovia a number of times, from its first year up to my recent dinner date. Segovia is a restaurant specializing in tapas-style, Spanish-influenced cuisines. They change their menu a couple of times a year that's why coming back here is pretty exciting for me all the time. My friend and I ordered 3 savoury plates and 1 dessert to share and we were fully satisfied at the end of the night. What I love about this place is they always deliver dishes that are well balanced in flavour, made with high quality ingredients and presented in a delectable manner. If you get the chance to dine here, I recommend sitting by the Chef's table to see all the action! With all the newer restaurants in Winnipeg, Segovia has yet to be beaten as my favourite!
