This is what you call indian summer! Since we were blessed with great weather, I decided to go biking around downtown to get some snap shots of the beautiful autumn season. I also stopped by a porchetta & meatball restaurant downtown called Little Maria's. It's this little kitschy diner serving meatballs, pasta & sandwiches. For dessert, they have fresh baked pies, cannolis & baklava.

remember how i was just talking about spring in my last post?

well, before taking these outfit photos, the last 2 photos were captured.

yes, this bipolar weather is taking over the city, hahaha!

spring means water puddles, annoying potholes and dirty backyards
but it also means, i can go out without heavy coats and layers of clothes on me
spring equals more daylight which means less editing in my photos
and excitingly, spring means my vacation trip is almost here!

i know, i know. forgive my absence, lovelies. i got pink eye last week and that prevented me from taking outfit photos. this week, on the other hand, has been incredibly brutal weather wise. don't let the nice sunny image above fool you. we were averaging between -20 to -48 celsius and there was no way i would stand outside for more than 2 mins and get frostbite, haha! i'm afraid i'd need to wait for the weekend to get outfit posts back up. hope you all understand. :)

visited The Forks over the weekend and discovered cool things to see this winter

i really didn't want to post these photos, but i thought; instead of seeing this as a really disappointing blog fail, why can't i just celebrate it? haha! there were so many struggles to put this post up, from the sunlight that was casting tripod shadows to my arms that were almost experiencing frostbite. But the most epic of all was my tripod being blown away by the wind. The last collage had me from posing in front of my camera, running to save my falling tripod and basically failing to catch it while it still took shots. that's how my thursday went, how's yours?

not the best outfit shots in this post but still wanted to share with you photos i took when we went to bacardi island this day. the beach was different from the one near our hotel since this had 'smoother' sand and wavier waters (hotel beach had calm waters). it was also ridiculously sunny this day that you can see the water glisten; and that's me without editing those images above.
