For my 400th post, I'd like to share some snippets of how summer has been going for me. Most of this came from this season's blog posts and adventures, so I hope you enjoy this little video I made.

With the new role I have at work and the ongoing wedding preparations, it's been such a busy summer for me. I wanted to write this post to say that I'm taking a bit of a break in the blog to focus on those things. I will definitely be back here after that hecticness, but for now, you can follow me on my Instagram (as I'll remain active there!). I hope everyone has a great summer.
See you later, lovelies!

This year was filled with new experiences, ideas and discoveries. I was lucky enough to travel outside the country and at the same time, was amazed to find new places within my local community. This year, I really ventured out into learning more about my city, Winnipeg. As 2014 comes to a close, I wanted to take this post as an opportunity to share with you my favourites from the past year. I've added the links to the posts I've written so feel free to check them out!

I really got interested in attending farmers' markets, pop up shops & restaurants and craft sales.

Here are some local specialty stores I've repeatedly visited this year.

City-wide events that I particularly enjoyed for 2014

If you can actually believe, this is the first year I got an instagram account!

And of course, I can't forget the out of country trips I had

I decided to do a 2-part post blog recap just so I won't have such a long entry here. I'll be sharing my favourite cafes, restaurants and outfits for 2014 in my next post. Until then, Happy New Year!
