While I was trying to put together this blog post, I realized how few my pictures are from this cabin getaway. But, I'm taking it as a sign that I was enjoying this trip too much, capturing everything in digital photos was the least of my priorities. Talk about savouring the moment.
Last week, my friends and I went on a quick overnight cabin trip to St. Laurent, Manitoba. During the day, we made our way to explore the beaches of Steep Rock and seeing the turquoise water was everything I envisioned it to be. Later in the night, it was all about sunsets, bonfires and endless stories with my friends. This trip gave me the recharge my body needed and was definitely a highlight of my summer.
