The new year won't be complete without featuring another local cafe/bakery. I've been following the High Tea Bakery on instagram, waiting for their renovations to finish so I can finally check out their new space. They finally did and seeing Daphne's blog post prompted me to brave the cold weather and head out to High Tea Bakery to try out their infamous imperial cookies. If you're looking for all sorts of cookies, this is your place -- from shortbreads, crinkles, drop & sugar cookies. They also serve Dogwood Espresso and Bellocq Tea, both of which you can enjoy inside their gorgeous well-lit space. There's seating on the main floor, as well as the second floor which also houses their decorating studio where baking classes are held. I can't recommend this place enough and I'm definitely going back to High Tea Bakery soon!
