Once you tell me that there's a new breakfast spot in the city, expect me to be there right away. So when I heard that Close Co., a hidden gem of a cocktail bar, was starting to serve coffee and breakfast, I knew I had to check it out. Located along Stafford Avenue, Close Co. serves a limited but delicious selection of breakfast fare including the sourdough toast and brioche sandwich pictured above. Also, coffee offered is brewed using Dogwood Coffee beans. Overall, I felt like this 10-seater spot had a charm of your favourite neighbourhood cafe, as if I was a regular (even though it was my first time there) and the people already knew how I wanted my first meal of the day. No wonder the place is named as such. With so many food establishments opening in the city, Close Co. is definitely a place you should not miss.
