To be quite truthful, I'm not the biggest beer drinker, but when I heard of Peg Beer Co. opening in the city, I knew I had to check it out. This new brew pub, with its inviting huge space, is located on the 'other side' of the Exchange District (if you live in Winnipeg, you'll know exactly what I mean). I met up with a friend after work to grab something to eat and this placed totally delivered. The menu items are perfect for sharing, delicious and reasonably priced. As I'm writing this post, the current drinks list includes a selection of craft beers from all over. I believe in a month's time, the bar will be serving their own brew and I'm definitely bringing the boy back here when they start doing that.
