It was my first time attending the annual Love Local MB event last Saturday and I was not disappointed. In its third year, this food, wine and beer event is a gathering of Manitoba-based entrepreneurs with the shared vision of promoting and celebrating local products. It was such a treat to be able to sample all the amazing food and beverages that night, most of which are also available in selected stores in the city (complete list is available on their website). What is even more remarkable was the event itself lets the attendees interact with the vendors/makers themselves. Not only do you leave the place filled with delicious food and drinks, but you also gain new understanding of what you put in your dining table. For a first time attendee, Love Local MB was such a great experience and I couldn't wait to go to the next one!
