I recently discovered Joe and Lily in my random instagram hopping a few weeks back. When I visited this small cafe, I found out that they've been in operation for a couple of months already. Open 7 days a week, they carry local coffee roaster Other Brother and pastries from Tall Grass Prairie. Unlike the other popular coffee shops in the city, Joe and Lily is located in a more secluded part of downtown (which I personally find ideal for doing some reading and personal work). I also recommend grabbing a mocha to go and walking towards Waterfront drive to get a view of the Red River. Truly, Joe and Lily makes for another wonderful addition in the Winnipeg coffee scene.
