Whenever I get to talk to fellow Winnipeg-ers, we've always noticed how the city is a bit late with food trends (e.i. the cupcake and macarons). Nevertheless, they do arrive and when they do, the city flocks, gathers and pours all their support. The latest would be the fascination for donuts and last week, I managed to drop by the opening day of Bronuts, the newest donut & coffee shop at the Exchange District. They serve 4 different types of donuts (nutella, vanilla glaze, cinnamon sugar & peanut butter chocolate) as well as a selection of espresso drinks. Since they opened, they have been selling out their donuts within the first couple of hours which is insane! My personal tip?
