Finally able to visit the Coal and Canary studio last week! Coal and Canary is a local company that sells quality hand poured candles by the power duo, Amanda & Tom. Their products are characterized by candles made with a soy and vegetable wax blend, top notch fragrance oils and a wide wooden wick that makes it burn clean & soot free. When I dropped by their studio, I had the opportunity to meet Amanda & Tom who were so kind to show me how they were pouring their newest line of candles. I managed to grab one (Good Beats & Eatin' Sweets: Sea Salt, Caramel, Vanilla & Maple), while the boy got the Award Show Box Set (this trio was part of this year's Grammy's & Oscar's celebrity swag bags). From their international line up of stockists, to their presence in the recent Toronto Fashion Week, Coal and Canary is definitely a brand to watch out for.
