New Year, New Restaurant! A few months ago, I was lucky to be able to have a preview of the newly opened Canadian Museum of Human Rights downtown. The museum currently houses their own restaurant called Era Bistro. The thing about this place is that the interior set up, with its shared long tables, encourages a communal dining experience. Pretty unique, isn't it? I went with a number of my friends for lunch and the menu included the usual fair of soup, salads and sandwiches. The great thing about Era is they use locally sourced, certified fair trade and sustainable ingredients, a trend that I'm totally willing to get into.
