Fiesta in Lipa. I went to my grandparent's place in the province of Lipa (an hour drive from Manila), where they were celebrating the annual town fiesta. First few days of the week were spent there with the rest of my mom's clan. The church shown above is a newly built structure, just a 5-minute walk from my lola's (grandmother) ancestral house.

Childhood memories. I remember back when I was a kid, I'd always get sorbetes (dirty ice cream = dirty because it's sold on the street). Peddled by street hawkers, it can be served in a cone or in a bread bun which was/is my personal favourite. It tasted distinctly from regular ice cream because it's made from coconut milk.

Makati Condominium. I stayed primarily in this condo during my trip. It was accessible to everything. I managed to get some free time and enjoyed the pool amenities one morning.

Meet ups in Greenbelt. This week was packed with lunches and dinners with family and friends. Most dining places were conveniently located here in Greenbelt, a 5-building mall flourishing with cafes, bars, fast-food chains and fancy restaurants. More on food trips in my next post.

Buying Pasalubong, a term used to refer to gifts given by someone arriving from a trip. To me, it really just meant shopping, haha! My last full day was spent in Greenbelt, shopping for myself, my family & friends back here in Canada and just using up all my Philippine Peso.

Lovely roses for Mother's Day. I left the country on Mother's day and I just can't help but share this photo as a highlight of this trip.

Meanwhile, here in Canada, I've been finding myself in school campus hallways, hahaha!
